5 Things to Know about the Schick S Ceramic System

07/23/2019

The Schick S Ceramic system allows labs to easily work with sintered zirconia and other high-performance ceramics. Here is a quick overview of how it works.

1. Start with the foundation
From the start, Schick has you covered. You can add the S Ceramic System to the S1, S2 or S3 milling units.

2. Keep things clean
The suction tub works in conjunction with a special separation unit, allowing you to use your existing suction device to remove the dust and water mist from the working area.

3. It packs some cool power
The T1000 water cooled, high-speed turbine allows you to perform big tasks with ease.

4. Let there be light
An LED light head attaches to the turbine to give users a high level of visibility, directly on the workpiece.

5. Add in the little things
A stainless-steel model table, a polishing set and diamond burs bring everything together. You will have all the tools you need to complete your work.

Here are some common questions we get asked.

Q. Can I use my own turbine?
A. Depending on the model of turbine you have, yes. Schick has designed adapters so that most popular turbines will fit into the machine. Contact us for more information about what turbines will work.

Q. Can I add the S Ceramic to my existing non-Schick milling unit?
A. There are a couple of variations of suction tubs and specially designed adapters that work with non-Schick milling units. Again, contact us for more details.
