Milled and printed polymers are changing the lab workflow, but removing supports is only half the job. You’re still left with milling marks, rough contours, and a surface that needs a real polish.
Traditional acrylic polishers can get you there, but they weren’t designed around today’s milled and printed surfaces. Panther Polymer is. It’s a finishing system for PMMA, acrylic, composite, and splint materials, whether the case was milled, printed, or processed the old fashioned way.
The sequence is simple: Groove clears milling and printing marks, Smooth refines the surface, Gloss brings it up, and Buff with Paste takes it to high gloss. Groove and Smooth wheels and discs use a lamella-style flap design that flexes into contours instead of skating over them. Run them at lower speeds and you get more control, which is what polymers want.
